Banking Agencies Can Do More to Lessen Regulatory Burdens on Bank Directors
AABD has again asked the federal banking agencies to review regulatory guidance imposing management responsibilities and huge burdens on bank directors. These burdens distract directors from their fundamental duties to act in good faith in overseeing the institution, including approving the bank’s strategic focus and overseeing its implementation.
