Your bank may be doing everything right but the fair lending laws and regulations are open to interpretation and subjective judgment.

Regulators will likely scrutinize fair lending practices even more carefully given recent developments. Some consumer groups are likely to employ unannounced testers to find evidence of disparate treatment to support lawsuits and referrals to the regulatory agencies.
