The Bank Apprenticeship Resource Coalition has Arrived
The Bank Apprenticeship Resource Coalition (BARC) established by AABD is up and running. With support from the Urban Institute, AABD is leading the effort to help make bank apprenticeships mainstream in the United States.
Bank boards want their banks to attract top talent. Talent does not derive entirely from conventional sources. Bank apprenticeships offer the opportunity for banks and their boards and management to identify talented people from a variety of backgrounds, including those not often considered.
Bank apprenticeships can open up opportunities in the banking world to those who cannot or choose not to pursue a college education but who have the talent and initiative to succeed.
