A Bank Board’s Role in Overseeing Cybersecurity Risks – Washington DC Workshop with LIMITED ATTENDANCE on Wednesday, October 24, 2018
Register now to reserve your spot at a cybersecurity workshop for bank board members and bank CEOs!
Have you, like many other bank board members, wondered whether your bank board has taken all steps necessary to mitigate cybersecurity risks, and is meeting regulatory expectations?
Would you like the opportunity to meet with experts and peers to find out what others are doing?
Here is your chance.
The AABD has partnered with regulatory and cybersecurity experts on a complimentary half-day event for AABD members (all directors of U.S. banks) that will empower your cybersecurity risk mitigation and oversight strategy.
Each expert will briefly share views on key cyber challenges, then open the floor to questions and confidential peer discussion. Topics include future regulatory expectations, how to assess a bank’s cyber vulnerabilities, cyber risk as an enterprise risk, ideas for third-party risk management, and more.
We are limiting the attendance to not more than twenty-five bank directors and CEOs. We want to encourage discussion and dialogue among the participants and experts.
Among the cybersecurity experts participating are:
- Tom Curry, former Comptroller of the Currency, who launched the federal banking agency cybersecurity initiatives, and is currently a partner at Nutter
- David Cotney, former Massachusetts Commissioner of Banks and currently Regulatory Director of CyberFortis
- Sean Doherty, former Special Ops Commander and Intelligence Professional, and currently President, TSC Advantage
